What Awards?
The Student Club Leadership Awards is an annual event held to recognize the accomplishments of student clubs at Shoreline Community College. The awards will be a fun and fantastic opportunity to honor the hard work and dedication of clubs and their members, but also a chance to hear about their important accomplishments over food and refreshments. This event is sponsored by Student Leadership Center and coordinated and supported by the Campus Ambassador Program.

Criteria
A nominee may be recognized for any club related accomplishments or activities they engaged in over the past academic year, 2007-2008.

How to Nominate?

• Pick up Nomination Forms at the Club Information Center, room 9301 on the third floor in the PUB, or the library. Place it in one of the Campus Ambassadors’ mailboxes in room 9301.
• Online version of the nomination form will be posted soon on Shoreline Community College’s Web site.

The nomination should contain:

1. The name of the student, advisor, or club being nominated;
2. Which award they are nominated for; and
3. A few sentences describing their contributions and efforts related to the award.

Selections will be made by a selection committee and awards will be given at the Annual Student Club Leadership Awards Ceremony.

Deadline for nominations: Monday, May 12th at 2 pm.

Individual Awards

• Student Leader of the Year: This award will be presented to students who have demonstrated outstanding leadership in the campus community.
• Advisor Award: This award will be presented to advisors who have gone above and beyond the call of duty for their respective club.
• Ambassador Award: This award will be presented to the most outgoing and friendly club member or officer.

Club Awards

• Community Service: This award will be presented the club that has demonstrated great service in the outside community.
• Cultural Heritage: This award will be presented to the club which has significantly educated and benefited the Shoreline campus community about its Cultural Heritage.
• Club of the Year: This award will recognize overall developments and achievements of clubs.
