DEATH AND DYING: CROSS CULTURAL PERSPECTIVES
Every great religious or spiritual tradition
tells us there is something beyond this life.
From biologists, psychologists, quantum
physicists, and mathematicians to the
conversations and dreams of those who are dying.
By using imagery and wisdom from world
traditions, this course will explore the realm
of death, and in doing so come to a greater
appreciation of life. This course is especially
helpful for those who work with the dying—health
professionals; ministry, fire fighters, hospice
workers, funeral directors, and family care
givers, as well as lay persons. Please bring
your lunch to class. 7 CEU's available through
NASW (Nat'l. Assn. of Social Workers) and the
Washington State Funeral Directors .
