Transferring Credits to Shoreline

Credits earned at colleges or universities that are recognized by the Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges or other regional accrediting agencies are accepted by Shoreline Community College.

University Transfer                   Professional Technical                        Graduation

Prerequisite Checking
Beginning with registration for Spring Quarter 2006, the college registration system will be checking completion of prerequisites at the time of registration for the following courses:
   
English 080, 090, 100, 101, 102
    Economics 200 and Philosophy 120 (quantitative symbolic reasoning courses)
    Math 070, 080, 097, 098, 099, 107, 108, 110, 111, 112, 120, 124, 125, 126, 170, 211

University Transfer (AAS or AS)

Students planning on earning one of Shoreline's University Transfer Degrees may click here* to print out a Transfer Degree Evaluation Request.* Please fill out the form and mail it to:

Professional/Technical (AAAS or Certificate of Proficiency)

Students planning on earning one of Shoreline's Professional/Technical degrees should contact their advisor or the division office to have their credits evaluated.  Please click here for planning sheets and contact information for each of our Professional/Technical degrees

Graduation

Students who are one quarter away from graduation may click here on Application for Degree and you will be taken to the online form. For the fastest service, just follow the onscreen directions at the bottom of the form, fill it out, and email it back.

Students who will earn a Certificate of Proficiency may click here** to fill out a Certificate of Proficiency Graduation Application.* Please fill it out and bring it into the Information Desk in the 5000 (Foss Building) or fax it to (206) 546-5835 or mail it to:

Note: Students earning a Professional Technical degree (AAAS or a Certificate of Proficiency) must submit a completed program planning sheet signed by their program advisor and division chairperson along with their graduation application.
