Astronomy is the science which investigates all the matter-energy in the universe: its distribution, composition, physical states, movements, and evolution.

ASTRONOMY & 101
Introduction to Astronomy (5)

A one-quarter survey course in astronomy, intended for non-science majors. Studies such topics as: the solar system, stellar evolution, galaxies and cosmology. Prerequisites: MATH 099. Student option grading.

Individual Project in Astronomy (1)

Individual project in a specific area of ASTR. By arrangement with instructor. Prerequisite: Instructor permission, based on evaluation of student's educational and work experience. Student option grading.
