Bob Biesiedzinski has been an automotive instructor at Shoreline Community College since January, 2002. As an instructor of the Honda PACT program, Biesiedzinski teaches curricula on brakes, suspension, steering, electrical, engine mechanical, engine performance, manual and automatic transmission, electrical and HVAC systems. Biesiedzinski works hard to help his students experience the best education possible, developing new curriculum designed to customize the educational experience of his students, utilizing an online classroom program to improve the interaction of the students during their internships at sponsoring dealerships. He has over 25 years experience as a professional automotive technician. Biesiedzinski received a Faculty Excellence Award in 2006. "This person is a teacher who cares about students," said one of his nominators. "Long after other instructors would have given up on a less-than-promising student, this teacher hangs on, knowing that a young person's future is at stake." Another automotive professor said that Biesiedzinski's dedication and passion to the Honda Program has brought national recognition as one of the best programs in the country. Biesiedzinski earned the ASE Master Automotive Technician status, the highest Certified Honda Technician status in just over a year; a very impressive accomplishment. He has an automotive technology degree from Wyoming Technical Institute and a Washington State Vocational Teaching Certificate. He completed all Honda and Acura IST module training at American Honda Training Centers; earned a certificate in certified web design from interTest, Inc.; and computer software, advanced electronics and diagnostic procedures at General Motors Training Centers. |
