The Shoreline Community College Women’s Soccer Camp is a four day event filled with 3 hours of soccer fundamentals each day. The staff will consist of SCC coaches and players from the NWAACC’s Third Place Team in 2007. The camp is designed for girls ages 8-14 and will be divided into age and skill groups for the best learning experience by using demonstrations, practice and game situations.

The SCC Camp will teach kids that the game of soccer can be both educational and fun; with the goal of improving all the player’s confidence and physical and mental skill levels by the end of the week. Our ability to teach with enthusiasm and a positive attitude, enhanced by our soccer playing and coaching backgrounds; means that each participant will leave camp a better soccer player, teammate and individual. We believe camp should be both educational and fun!

Fundamental ball skills will be taught every day, and players will be encouraged to continue to work on these simple but effective drills and exercises after camp has ended. Each day will have a different focus, but camp will always end with a game daily. Some of the major skills that will be covered: One On One moves, shooting, crossing, combination play, trapping, passing, heading and goalkeeping.

COST: $75 per player

EQUIPMENT: Each player will need to bring a soccer ball and a water bottle.

INSURANCE: Insurance is provided for each camper and is included in the camp fee.

Each participant will receive a SCC Soccer Camp t-shirt. Registrations received without a shirt size indicated will be recorded as a Youth Large. Enrollment is limited, so sign up soon!
