If you think the cost of going to college may be beyond your reach, Shoreline's Financial Aid Office is here to help. Financial assistance may include loans, scholarships, grants and employment. Need-based student loans are generally low-interest loans and do not have to be repaid until you are finished with college. Scholarships and grants do not have to be repaid. Part-time employment opportunities include work-study jobs, usually on-campus, as well as community jobs which are posted outside the Job Connections Center Office.

If you are interested in seeking financial aid, contact the Financial Aid Office in 5200, FOSS Building. The staff can discuss options with you and provide you with financial aid forms. Because resources are limited and there are deadlines for various types of aid, you are encouraged to complete your financial aid application as soon as possible. Ideally, begin the process in January for the following fall quarter.
