* Player of the Week: Carly Thompson
Carly Thompson, a sophomore mid-fielder from Kamiak High School was named Player of the Week for her strong play in SCC's victory over Wenatchee Valley CC on Saturday. Carly directed the offense that ripped WVCC for four goals on Saturday as SCC moved its record to 3-3-1 on the season, 1-3-1 in the NWZZCC Northwern Region.

* Women’s Soccer Drops Match To Yakima Valley
|
The SCC Women’s Soccer Team dropped a 2-1 decision to Yakima Valley Community College on Wednesday afternoon in Yakima, WA. The teams fought to a 0-0 tie in the first half, but YVCC broke the deadlock early in the second half and added an insurance goal about halfway through the half. SCC broke into the scoring column with a goal by Jalisa Santiago in the 78th minute, but could not score again.
SCC is now 2-3-1 on the season, 0-3-1 in the Northern Region. Yakima is 3-0-1 on the year. Shoreline travels to Wenatchee Valley CC on Saturday to play. Game time is Noon.

* Player of the Week: Stephanie Lim
Stephanie Lim, a freshman forward from Shorewood High School, provided the assist that helped tie the game against Treasure Valley CC on Saturday in the 82nd minute.

* SCC Women’s Soccer Team Ties One, Loses One
|
The fifth ranked Lady Dolphin Women’s Soccer Team was defeated by topped ranked Walla Walla Community College on Friday after at the SCC Soccer Field by the score of 4-1. Walla Walls was dominate in the first half, as the WWCC squad pushed to a 3-0 score after 45 minutes. SCC battled back in the second half, but could only muster one goal as the Lady Warriors maintained their 3 goal lead with a goal of their own.
On Saturday, SCC scored a late goal in the 82 second minute to tie Treasure Valley Community College from Oregon. New comer Meaghan Slighter scored to save the tie for the Lady Dolphins. Slighter joined the team on Thursday after transferring from Evergreen College.
Shoreline is 2-2-1 on the season and 0-2-1 in the Northern Region. SCC returns to the pitch on Wednesday, on the road at Yakima Valley Community College at 2:00 PM.

* SCC Women's Soccer Defeats Chemeketa
|
The Shoreline Women's Soccer Team beat host Chemeketa Community College in Salem, Oregon 1-0 to finish the NWAACC Crossover tournament 2-0. Freshman Jenny Foss scored the lone goal of the game for the Lady Dolphins.
SCC plays again on Saturday at Columbia Basin College in Pasco, WA at Noon.

* SCC Women's Soccer Opens Season with 4-3 Victory

The SCC women's soccer team opened the season with a 4-3 victory over Bellevue College on Tuesday in Salem, OR. The Lady Dolphins had four different players score and held on for the victory in a tough opening win. SCC will play Chemeketa Community College tomorrow at 2 p.m. in Salem.
