    <content type="text/html" mode="escaped">&lt;div&gt;&lt;img src="/MensBasketball/uploads/300_5341.JPG" alt="300_5341.JPG" width="133" height="200" align="left" border="0"&gt;Shoreline Community College on Friday named sophomore Nahshon George and freshman Joe Dickinson as "Co-Players of the Week" for the final week of the season.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;In that week, the Dolphins defeated Peninsula College 112-98 in overtime and then defeated Whatcom Community College 78-74 after being down by 17 points at half-time. SCC finished the season winning 7 out of 8 of their final games. to end the year 9-15 overall and 7-7 in the NWAACC Northern Region, one game out of the NWAACC Championships.&lt;img src="/MensBasketball/uploads/300_8590.JPG" alt="300_8590.JPG" width="133" height="200" align="right" border="0"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;George scored 41 points with 33 rebounds and 1 blocked shot and 1 steal. Dickinson added 29 points, 21 rebounds with 2 steals and 5 assists.&lt;/div&gt;</content>

    <content type="text/html" mode="escaped">The Shoreline Community College Men's Basketball Team came back from being 17 points down at half-time to defeat Whatcom Community College 78-74 on Saturday night in Bellingham, WA.&lt;div&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;img src="/MensBasketball/uploads/700_5475sc.jpg" alt="700_5475sc.jpg" width="133" height="200" align="left" border="0"&gt;SCC trailed 47-30 at half-time but held the Orcas to 27 points in the second half and scored 48 themselves to win their final game of the 2012-13 season. SCC finished the year a disappointing 9-15 overall and 7-7 in the NWACCC Northern Region, but SCC won 8 out of the last 9 games they played and fell short by one game of forcing a play-in game to the NWAACC Championship. Whatcom moves to the NWAACC Championship as the #2 team in the region.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Shoreline used a balanced attack in the second half to overcome the&lt;img src="/MensBasketball/uploads/700_6142.JPG" alt="700_6142.JPG" width="200" height="200" align="right" border="0"&gt; Orcas, as Kadeem Stewart and Josh Youngblood scored 18 points each in the game and Nahshon George and Joe Dickinson added 16 and 15 each as well to finish out the double digit scoring for the Dolphins. George had 11 rebounds while Dickinson collected 10.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</content>

If SCC defeats Whatcom and Bellevue College defeats Peninsula College on Saturday, those three teams would all be tied for the final playoff spot in the region and play-in games would have to played.&lt;/span&gt;</content>

    <content type="text/html" mode="escaped">&lt;div&gt;The SCC Men's Basketball Team defeated Peninsula College on Wednesday night in the SCC Gym 112-98 in overtime. SCC missed an open lay-up with 1 second left in regulation but would not be denied in over-time, out scoring the Pirates 25-11 in the extra 5 minutes.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;img src="/MensBasketball/uploads/300_5238.JPG" alt="300_5238.JPG" width="167" height="250" align="left" border="0"&gt;SCC led most of the way, being up 50-44 at half-time and leading most of the second half, but PC would not give up and tied the game at 87-87 and played for the last shot and missed, SCC took off on a fastbreak but missed the final shot in regulation.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;SCC was led by Joshua Youngblood with 27 points and Nahshon George, who scored 25 points but was dominant on the boards, grabbing 22 rebounds. Kadeem Stewart and Abdul Mohamed added 15 points each, Joe Dickinson 14 and Bulla Viena 10.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;SCC is now 8-15 on the year and 6-7 in the NWAACC Northern Region. Peninsula falls to 16-10 and 7-6. SCC has pulled within 1 game of the final playoff spot in region. If SCC can win its final game on Saturday at Whatcom Community College and other teams lose, SCC could be in a play-in game situation to go to the NWAACC Championship the following weekend in the Tri-Cities.&lt;/div&gt;</content>
