The Shoreline Community College baseball team dropped two games to Lower Columbia College on Sunday, losing 14-1, 14-2. SCC pitchers had a tough time finding the strike zone, as SCC combined for 20 walks in the two games.

Micah Yabes had 2 hits in the second game including a double for SCC and scored a run. Lower Columbia is ranked #3 in the NWAACC and is 10-4 overall.

SCC begins NWAACC Northern Region play on Saturday, as they play at Bellevue College at 1 p.m. and then return home to Lower Woodland Park to face the Bulldogs on Sunday at 1 p.m. as well. Both dates are doubleheaders. SCC is 6-9 overall, while Bellevue is 11-8 overall and 3-0 in the region.
