It costs two cents per page to print, both in the library and
in the computer lab on the first floor of the library. You pay for your printing by adding money to your
print account using your
student ID
at the gray, value-add stations. There is one on the main floor of the library, behind the reference collection,
and one in the computer lab downstairs.
Once you have money on your account, print from the computers as you would normally. The computer will prompt you
for your name and a name for the document that you are printing. You can type anything you want into these two fields.
After this step, your print job will be sent to the print station. In the library this station is found right next
to the library reference desk. Take your ID card to the print station and swipe it through the black ID card reader.
The print station will ask you to enter your student PIN. This is typically your date of birth, with two numbers for
the month, two numbers for the day, and two numbers for the year of your birthday (example: if you were born on February
20th, 1982, your PIN would be
022082).
The print station will then show you a list of all the print jobs that are ready to print. Look for your name and the
name you entered for your print job, highlight your job(s), and hit the print button.
