* Campus honors John Backes at retirement event
John Backes (right) receives a plaque from Shoreline Community College President Lee Lambert. Faculty and staff gathered June 26, 2012 to honor Backes' 37 years of service and say goodbye to the Vice President of Academic and student Affairs and wish him well in retirement. The event and gifts were paid for by donations from employees. More photos
