The Shoreline Community College Athletic Department celebrated Athletic Homecoming on Sunday, February 27 in the SCC Gym during the half-times of the men’s and women’s basketball games against Peninsula College. The event saw both the Women’s Volleyball team and Men’s Soccer team awarded their banners for winning their NWAACC Northern Region Championships in the fall quarter.

The basketball teams honored their sophomores as the women’s basketball team presented four sophomores flowers, Kylie Williams, Yan Tsoi Hoi, Lynsey Sandum and Andrea Schneider. While the men’s team honored three sophomores and their families,  Alfie Miller-Soukasen, Joe Holifield and Sean Jones.

And finally, the Athletic Department honored 61 student-athletes who made a 3.00 GPA or higher during the fall quarter in the department’s Green, Gold and Dolphin Clubs. There was 38 student-athletes in the Green Club (3.00 to 3.49 GPA), 22 in the Gold Club (3.50 to 4.00 GPA) and one in the Dolphin Club (4.00 GPA) who was Blair Stone from the Women’s Tennis team.
